Living Greens

Living Greens ™ contain no less than 16 green plants selected for their unsurpassed purity, potency and ability to provide optimal nutrition.

Our bodies need green, nutritious vegetables to function properly, but all too often vegetables are grown commercially on mineral wool or exhausted soils, sprayed with toxic chemicals and harvested too early. In an attempt to overcome this, Generations of Health formulated Living Greens™, a truly revolutionary product that contains minerals and phytonutrients from the most nutritious plants on earth, such as alfalfa, broccoli, kale, cabbage, parsley, kamut, barley, oat, dandelion, broccoli sprout, spirulina, chlorella, dulce.

Each ingredient in Living Greens™ has been selected for its unsurpassed purity, potency and ability to deliver phytonutrients, which naturally activate metabolic function.

Living Greens contain an exceptional selection of active phytonutrients that are uniquely designed by nature to activate metabolic function.

Living Greens are enriched with dandelion, which is traditionally used as a general stimulant for kidney and liver functions.

Living Greens are rich in Spirulina, Chlorella and Dulce, with powerful cleansing properties

Living Greens are offered in powder form, can be conveniently mixed with water and contains no additives, binding agents, starch or sugar.

The power of the green chlorophyll

Our bodies need green vegetables to help us feel well. In addition to the many enzymes, trace elements and other nutrients included in the vegetable blend in Living Greens™, the product also contains chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is the substance that gives plants their green colour, and is the “life blood” that plays a key role in photosynthesis – the process that uses sunlight and the carbon dioxide in the air to produce energy and life-sustaining oxygen. Chlorophyll is the most common and yet the most underestimated substance on earth. Chlorophyll is an efficient deliverer of magnesium and helps the blood carry oxygen to the cells and tissue.

Nutrients in Living Greens

  • Alfalfa whole leaf powder: trace minerals. Proteins stimulate the rebuilding of tissues and strengthen hair, skin and nails.
  • Kamut whole leaf powder: calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, copper and manganese, vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, vitamin E, pantothenic acid and folic acid, amino acids and selenium. Selenium is important for synthesising many of the enzymes and proteins that are needed for metabolism in the cells. Selenium also protects the cells from the damaging effects of heavy metals, especially arsenic, cadmium, mercury and lead.
  • Oat grass juice powder: calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, manganese, vitamin B5, folic acid and silicic acid. Useful in dietary treatments, gastritis and diarrhoea.
  • Chlorella powder: HGH (human growth hormone), RNA and DNA protein, minerals, chlorophyll, and antioxidant vitamins like beta-carotene.
  • Spirulina powder: highly digestible vegetable protein, B vitamins, particularly B1, B2, B3, B6, B12.
  • Broccoli powder: vitamins A, B6 ,C, E and K, as well as folate and fibre; phosphorus, potassium and magnesium. Broccoli contains glucosinolates, phytochemicals that break down to compounds called indoles and isothiocyanates (such as sulforaphane, which scientists have discovered help boost the body’s detoxification enzymes, possibly by altering gene expression). Broccoli also contains the carotenoid lutein. (This is one of over 600 known carotenoids known to occur naturally. It is found in green leafy vegetables such as spinach and kale, and is beneficial to the eyes.)
  • Spinach: calcium, phosphorus, iron, potassium and zinc; antioxidants like carotenoids, vitamin C, vitamin E and vitamin K.
  • Cabbage powder: vitamin C, fibre, manganese, folate, vitamin B6, potassium and omega-3 fatty acids; thiamin (vitamin B1), riboflavin (vitamin B2), calcium, magnesium, vitamin A and protein.
  • Barley juice powder: potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, calcium, zinc, manganese, vitamin B complex and folic acid. Barley is beneficial to the intestinal tract and the liver. It has also been discovered that barley has a beneficial effect on stomach ulcers, and helps reduce cholesterol level in the blood. Rich in SOD (Super Oxide Dismutase).
  • Rice bran extract: fibre, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
  • Parsley powder: vitamins K, A, C, folate, iron, vitamin E, dietary fibre as well potassium, calcium, magnesium and manganese; nutritious oils and flavonoids.
  • Dandelion extract powder: potassium, sodium, calcium, phosphorus and iron; vitamins A, B, C and D. The root contains bitter glycosides, tannins, triterpenes, sterols, volatile oil, choline, asparagin, and inulin. It is traditionally used as a general stimulant to kidney and liver functions.
  • Kale: calcium, lutein, iron, and vitamins A, C, K, trace minerals.
  • Sea Dulce - a red algae: iron, iodine, potassium, trace minerals, vitamin B12. It has been reported to restore kidney function.
  • Flax seed: omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids; calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, vitamin B3, iron and vitamin E. Reduces inflammation, acts as a laxative, removes toxic waste products in the intestines and also helps against asthma.
